San Diego, California, residents reported shaking and tremors, prompting speculation of an earthquake in the area.
"I'm in San Diego and there was the biggest boom ...it wasn't like a sonic boom or an earthquake it rattled the windows in my house anyone else?" one person wrote on X.
Another wrote, "Earthquake just now in San Diego. That was a long, loud, rolling one."
A third person wrote, "does san diego just have earthquakes every day? like damn bruh"
"Anyone else near Miramar/Kearney Mesa area feel the earthquake? I didn't feel anything," another user asked.
