Who was Ari Floe Weintraub?
Ari Weintraub was a well-known Soul Calibur player and a mainstay of the early fighting game scene, better known in the FGC as fLoE. Ari was born on October 11, 1989, in the Chicago suburb of Park Ridge, Illinois, as per the obituary.
Weintraub was not just a player; he was also a lab monster, a man who created cutting-edge technologies, and one of the best training partners you could have. He was also quick to try to make you laugh. fLoE continued to be involved in the FGC, where he maintained close friendships with individuals worldwide, despite having stepped down from competition.
For some time, fLoE frequently attended conferences such as CEO and EVO. In addition, he was well-known in the FGC as a content developer and a member of Evil Geniuses. He was a formidable opponent in many fighting games, such as Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, Soul Calibur, Mortal Kombat, Darkstalkers, and Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Weintraub moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, after going global and first becoming well-known in the Chicago FGC. He also spent several years with Evil Geniuses, one of the first major FGC eSports teams, beginning in 2011.
